Straterra Property Group Inc. Michael Milne has been named president of this Plymouth Meeting, Pa.-based real estate investment firm. He will be responsible for investments in the Mid-Atlantic market. Previously, he was an institutional investment adviser with Plymouth Meeting, Pa.-based Urdang and Associates Real Estate Advisors.

Cushman & Wakefield Thomas J. Hallowell has joined this New York-based real estate firm as managing director of its financial consulting group. He will serve as primary contact for southeastern assignments. Previously, Hallowell was director of real estate advisory services for New York-based PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Pinnacle Realty Management Robert Hold has been named president of this Seattle-based real estate firm's east region. He will oversee the company's management, brokerage and renovations in 21 states. Previously, he was founder of Orlando, Fla.-based Hold Realty, as well as co-partner of Munich, Germany-based Hold/Thyssen Inc.

Glaser Financial Group David Williams has been promoted from vice president to executive vice president and principal of this St. Paul, Minn.-based mortgage banking firm. His new responsibilities include expansion of lending programs and geographic expansion. Prior to joining Glaser, Williams served as vice president and general manager for The Schuett Cos., Minneapolis.

Senior Lifestyle Corp. Lawrence B. Murphy has joined this Chicago-based seniors housing firm as executive vice president and COO. He will be responsible for leading the regional- and community-based operations team. Previously, Murphy was senior vice president of Bethesda, Md.-based Marriott Senior Living Services.

The Sterling Cos. Christian J. Johannsen has been named executive vice president of this Palm Beach, Fla.-based real estate investment management firm. He will be responsible for the company's real estate acquisitions, dispositions and financing. Prior to joining Sterling, Johannsen was managing director of Miami-based Aztec Group Inc.

MeriStar Hotels & Resorts Christopher Eastman has joined this Washington, D.C.-based hotel management company as CIO. He will be responsible information and data management systems and expansion of the company's Internet systems. Previously, Eastman served as IT manager of Bethesda, Md.-based Virtualogic Inc.

Waterton Associates LLC Mark A. Avis has been appointed CIO of this Chicago-based real estate investment and advisory firm. He will be responsible for acquisitions. Previously, Avis was assistant vice president of acquisitions for Chicago-based Equity Residential Properties Trust.

NewMark Merrill Properties Sandra Kist has been appointed CFO of this Tarzana, Calif.-based commercial real estate firm. Her responsibilities will include financial analysis of properties and acquisition due diligence. Prior to joining Newmark Merrill, Kist served as corporate controller for West Hollywood, Calif.-based EJM.

Charlesbank Capital Partners Mary Lou Boutwell has been promoted from senior vice president to managing director of this Boston-based investment firm. She will be responsible for asset management. Previously, Boutwell was a partner and regional director, asset management at Boston-based TA Associates Realty.

The Haskell Co. Steven T. Halverson has been named president of this Jacksonville, Fla.-based design and construction company. He will manage the company's day-to-day operations and develop a strategic growth plan. Prior to joining Haskell, he served as senior vice president for Minneapolis-based M.A. Mortenson Co.

Charles Dunn Co. Ryer Pickren has joined this Los Angeles-based commercial real estate brokerage firm as executive vice president of brokerage services. He will be responsible for integrating brokerage activities between offices. Previously, Pickren served as regional manager for Los Angeles-based Daum Commercial Real Estate Services.

Thomas L. Beneville has been promoted from director of investment banking for the New York office to co-president of investment banking of this New York-based real estate investment firm. He will join Frank Sullivan, also a co-president. Previously, Beneville served as vice president in the real estate finance group at New York-based Bankers Trust Co.
