Paradigm Properties Group Inc. David Materna has been named president and CEO of The Paradigm Group Inc., a Gainesville, Fla.-based developer and manager of multifamily real estate. Materna will be responsible for operations of Paradigm Properties Inc., Paradigm Properties Management Team Inc., Paradigm Enterprises Inc. and Collier Companies Inc. He is a 20-year veteran of the investment banking industry. Also, Donald C. Taylor has been named chairman and CEO of the Paradigm Properties Management Team Inc. His responsibilities include growing the company and training.

Lowe Enterprises Inc. Bradley R. Hillgren has been named president of Los Angeles-based Lowe Enterprises Commercial Group of California. He is responsible for Lowe's commercial property in California and Arizona. Prior to joining Lowe in 1986, Hillgren was a senior commercial broker for New York-based Cushman & Wakefield.

National Community Reinvestment Coalition This Crystal City, Va.-based organization has named Gail Burks as its new chairperson. Burks is currently CEO of Las Vegas-based Nevada Fair Housing Center, and has extensive experience in public housing law and private landlord/tenant law.

Julien J. Studley Inc. Howard Sadowsky has been appointed vice chairman of this Los Angeles-based real estate firm. He will be responsible for development of the company's strategic plan and will continue to oversee western U. S. operations as senior regional manager. Stephen Walbridge has been promoted to executive vice president and will also continue to manage Studley's national accounts group.

The Appraisal Foundation Bruce A. Kellogg has been elected to the board of trustees of this Washington, D.C.-based appraisal standards and qualifications organization. Kellogg is currently managing director of appraisal standard for New York-based Cushman & Wakefield Inc.'s valuation advisory services, and he is publisher of its bi-annual investor survey.

Insignia/ESG Inc. Mary Ann Tighe has been appointed vice chairman of this New York-based commercial real estate firm. She joined the firm in 1984 as a sales associate and most recently served as executive managing director. Prior to entering real estate, Tighe served as a vice president of the American Broadcasting Company where she launched the A&E cable channel.

The Cheshire Group LLC Jenifer Steig has been promoted to senior vice president of this New York-based real estate investment firm. In her new position, she will be responsible for an asset management portfolio of cooperative apartments. Previously, Steig served as vice president.

Thomas & Mack Co. Robert A. "Tim" Snow has become president of the company's newly formed division, Thomas & Mack Development Co., which will pursue joint ventures and build-to-suit development opportunities in southern Nevada. Snow has 30 years of experience in real estate development and brokerage. Previously, he was chief development officer for Las Vegas-based Thomas & Mack Co.

Murray Hill Properties This New York-based commercial real estate brokerage firm has named Michael J. Giglio CFO. He has experience in integrated property management systems, financial operations and asset management in the real estate industry. Prior to joining Murray Hill, Giglio was with Chicago-based E&Y Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group as manager of its information technology services group.

AMB Property Corp. W. Blake Baird has been named managing director and CIO of this San Francisco-based real estate firm. His duties will include raising capital and deployment, mergers and acquisitions, implementation of strategic initiatives, and other financial areas.
