Taking in the Trash

Wal-Mart has often been accused of selling trashy goods. Now they are doing exactly that. TerraCycle Inc., which creates a plant fertilizer made from and packaged entirely in waste, struck a deal placing its goods on the shelves of all Wal-Mart stores in Canada. TerraCycle Plant Food is made by feeding organic waste to earthworms. The excrement from the worms is then liquified and bottled in used soda bottles.
