Biomet Subsidiary Takes 102,000 Sq. Ft. in Parsippany

NEW JERSEY-EBI LLC, a subsidiary of medical device and implant manufacturer Biomet Spine & Bone Healing Technologies, has signed a 102,000-sq.-ft. lease at 399 Jefferson Road in Parsippany. The transaction brings the property to 100 percent occupancy and involves a 28,000-sq.-ft. expansion to the building.

Cushman & Wakefield Inc.‘s Andrew Schiffer and Robert Rudin in East Rutherford, N.J., represented Biomet in its lease at 399 Jefferson Road, which is owned by Prism Capital Partners LLC.

The Class A property consists of 180,000 sq. ft. of space and will serve as the headquarters for Biomet Spine and Bone Healing Technologies.

Prism Capital Partners is fitting out existing space for the new tenant and building the addition to include research and development laboratories, offices, conference rooms and an employee lunch area.

The tenant is relocating in phases to its new space at 399 Jefferson Road from its existing Parsippany location.
