HFF Closes Sale of Jersey City Redevelopment Site

JERSEY CITY, NJ—HFF, working on behalf of seller 180 Baldwin LLC, has sold a 5.2-acre redevelopment site at 180 Baldwin Ave. in Jersey City, N.J., which was purchased by 180 Baldwin Avenue LLC.

Located in the Journal Square neighborhood of Jersey City, 180 Baldwin Ave. offers close proximity to the PATH train station and is currently improved with a 300,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing building, which was formerly the site of Mueller Pasta Factory.

The HFF team representing the seller was led by managing director Michael Nachamkin.

“There are very few opportunities in Jersey City for new development and even fewer of this size,” said Nachamkin. “This site is an ideal location for an office or retail development in the heart of one of the most densely populated areas in the country.”
