NEW JERSEY—More than 75,000 sq. ft. of office space has been leased at Headquarters Plaza in Morristown in the first quarter of 2012, reports Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey.
According to Cushman & Wakefield, which serves as exclusive broker for the Class A commercial center, nine companies have signed, renewed or expanded leases at Headquarters Plaza in the past four months.
Originally developed by joint-venture partners Olnick Organization and Fisher Development, Headquarters Plaza is situated adjacent to the Morristown Green and offers more than 700,000 sq. ft. of commercial, office and retail space. Property amenities include a fitness center and the 256-room Hyatt Morristown Hotel and Conference Center.
The Olnick-Fisher joint venture recently completed a multi-million dollar, property-wide capital improvement program at the complex. New additions include The Club at Morristown, a 41,000-sq.-ft., state-of-the-art fitness center and the Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa.
Additional onsite amenities include restaurants, a daycare center, a 10-screen Clearview cinema, on-site Hertz rental car service and a parking garage with 3,500 covered spaces. A full-time concierge is also available.
Tenants include investment and accounting firms to law offices and staffing companies, such as Graham Curtin, Jones Trading, Morristown Capital, Walsh & Borresen and Insight Global, among others.
Headquarters Plaza is located 25 minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport and is easily accessible from major highways such as Route 287, Route 202 and Route 10 and mass transportation options including N.J. Transit’s Morristown Train Station.
