NEW YORK—Barry Farchi and Mansour Tabibnia, partners at Azad Property Group, orchestrated a joint venture partnership for a portfolio of eight walk-ups in the East Village, West Village and SoHo. Kushner Companies, along with an international real estate fund acquired the buildings recently from Benchmark.
“Azad Property Group is actively seeking similar packages in the Village to add to the portfolio of this JV partnership,” said Farchi.
According to Azad Property Group, the joint venture represents one of the largest packages sold in the downtown market this year.
