NEW YORK—Bernard Chaus Inc. has signed a new, 10-year, 7,200-sq.-ft. lease at 148 West 37th Street. James Buslik, principal of Adams & Co. Real Estate represented the landlord, Fashion Associates, in the transaction, while Savitt Partners LLC represented the tenant.
Bernard Chaus, a fashion accessories company, plans to use this space as its offices, as well as a showroom.
“The Garment District continues to be a prime location throughout the city for many fashion tenants,” said Buslik. “This new location for Bernard Chaus provides them with the necessities that will help support their business needs, and we look forward to seeing them grow.”
Constructed in 1924, 148 West 37th Street is a 14-story, 105,600-sq.-ft. property that offers 24-hour access and includes new windows. Other office tenants in the building include Valentine USA, Tribu International and Eastern Silk Mills.
