CBC Alliance Finds New Space for comiXology

NEW YORK– For the third time since 2007, Michael Okun, a senior managing director at Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance (CBC Alliance), has helped comiXology relocate to larger space commensurate with the speed of the digital comics platform’s growth.

The new 21,945-sq.-ft. offices that Okun secured at 512 Seventh Avenue, between 37th and 38th Streets, were plug-and-play ready and fully furnished with exposed ceilings and surrounded by windows with great light.

“My clients are visionaries in their market and have grown so quickly that we more than tripled their space this time,” Okun said in a statement. “Last year, comiXology was ranked as the number three top-grossing iPad app, and the only one to stay on the top 10 list from the year before. Their new offices will work perfectly for them.”

Prior to signing the seven-year lease at 512 Seventh Avenue, comiXology had a 7,500-sq.-ft. office at 159 West 25th Street. Representing the landlord were Matthew Feigen and Michael Dreizen, senior managing director, and Matthew Feigen, associate director, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
