Colson Patisserie Opens Second Location in Brooklyn at Industry City

NEW YORK—Colson Patisserie has signed a seven-year lease to occupy space at 22 E. 36th Street at Industry City, the 40-acre industrial center of Bush Terminal along Brooklyn’s Sunset Park waterfront. The new tenant will use its space as a working bakery as well as a café for patrons.

The Industry City location is the second Brooklyn location for Colson Patisserie. The bakery, established by Paris-born filmmaker Yonatan Israel, opened its first location in 2006. Colson Patisserie joins confectioners Tumbador Chocolate and Blue Marble, who are also tenants at Industry City.

Industry City at Bush Terminal along Brooklyn’s Sunset Park waterfront is a complex of manufacturing, office and retail space. Built in the early 1900s, it was the largest manufacturing and distribution center in the worked. Comprised of 16 buildings, Industry City is now home to creative and innovative firms and businesses.
