Elizabeth Arden Expands Space to 53,000 SF at First Stamford Place

NEW YORK—Global beauty, fragrance, cosmetics and skincare company Elizabeth Arden has signed a 3,424-sq.-ft. expansion at 200 First Stamford Place in Stamford, Conn. where it has been a tenant since 1995. The company will bring its office space to a total of 53,000 sq. ft. at the property beginning July 1.

Jeffrey H. Newman, executive vice president, Kimberly Zaccagnino, senior leasing associate, and leasing associate Tara Long, leasing associate, all of Malkin Properties, which serves as marketing and managing agent for the property, represented the landlord in this transaction. The tenant was represented by Mike Gordon and Joe Cabrera of Cushman & Wakefield.

“From the start of our tenancy, we have been very impressed with the amenities, convenience to transportation and tenant services at First Stamford Place,” said James Cantela, vice president of design and construction with Elizabeth Arden. “Malkin Properties has a proven ability to cater to its tenants’ evolving space needs, so we knew that we were in good hands when it came time to grow within the office complex.”

First Stamford Place includes on-going enhancements, including recent upgrades to its common corridor and restrooms. In addition, the property offers tenants in-house concierge services, a dining and catering facility, tenants-only fitness center and conference center. Located in close proximity to the Stamford Transportation Center and shopping areas, First Stamford Place includes 24/7 card access and an on-site management office.
