Jack Pierson Studio Picks Up New Studio Space in Queens for $1.3M

NEW YORK—Jack Pierson Studio has paid $1.3 million to acquire 16-13 Stephen Street in the Ridgewood section of Queens, N.Y., an, 8,800-sq.-ft. property that was the site of a former knitting mill. The new ownership will use the space as a studio.

Howard Darsi of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates (KDA) represented the buyer, while Jean Cook, also of KDA, represented the seller, Stephen Street Realty LLC, in the transaction. 

Jack Pierson, a renowned artist, relocated to 16-13 Stephen Street from 70 Greenwich Ave. in Manhattan.

Located between Cypress and Wyckoff avenues, 16-13 Stephen Street provides easy access to Manhattan and Brooklyn and is convenient to the Jackie Robinson Parkway. The property is comprised of two spaces, which include an 8,000-sq.-ft. ground floor and an 800-sq.-ft. second story. The property contains its original wood floors.
