NEW YORK—Lights Up!, a designer and manufacturer of commercial and residential contemporary lighting, has signed a 12,000-sq.-ft. lease to occupy space at 148 39th Street in Brooklyn’s Industry City. The tenant will use is space for manufacturing and wholesale needs and has plans to integrate a design studio in the future.
Industry City at Bush Terminal along Brooklyn’s Sunset Park waterfront is a complex of manufacturing, office and retail space. Built in the early 1900s, it was the largest manufacturing and distribution center in the worked. Comprised of 16 buildings, Industry City is now home to creative and innovative firms and businesses.
The site offers affordable, versatile, multi-use industrial units that handle enough power to accommodate light and heavy electricity consumption.
