Local Investors Take Flatbush Apartment Building for $11.1M

NEW YORK—A group of local investors has paid $11.1 million for 9720 Kings Highway, an elevator apartment building located in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.

Josh Orlander, an associate of GFI Realty Services Inc. represented the seller on an exclusive basis in the sale, while Joseph Landau, also an associate broker of GFI Realty Services, represented the buyers.

Constructed in the early 1900s, 9720 Kings Highway is comprised of six stories consisting of 118 residential apartments. In addition, the property includes six retail stores, which, taken together, total approximately 113,398 sq. ft.

The property is in close proximity to Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. In addition, it is located within walking distance to public transportation.
