New Lobby, Entryway Planned for 7 Penn Plaza

NEW YORK—A new entryway and lobby are planned for 7 Penn Plaza, according to owner the Feil Organization. 7 Penn Plaza is a 17-story commercial office building located on 7th Avenue in the emerging Penn Plaza District. Built in 1921, the property currently features 24/7 access, an attended lobby, and six passenger elevators.

Located across the street from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden, 7 Penn Plaza is situated in the heart of the revitalized Penn Plaza District. The 7 Penn Plaza lobby renovation coincides with several of the area's ongoing developments, such as Moynihan Station, Brookfield's office building project, the Hudson Yards Special Purpose District and the No. 7 train extension.

Starbucks recently signed a 20,000-sq.-ft. corporate lease with The Feil Organization at 7 Penn Plaza. The Seattle-based coffee company is establishing its new East Coast headquarters at the Penn Plaza location and will occupy nearly 80 percent of the 15th floor come summer 2012.
