Troy, Mich. – Locally based Kmart Corp. named Mark S. Schwartz as president and COO of the company, effective immediately. Schwartz joined Kmart in September 2000 as executive vice president of store operations.
Previously, he served as president and director of Wal-Mart Supercenter Stores in Mexico and as senior vice president for Wal-Mart Supercenters.
