Durham, N.C. – Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc. plans to start construction on its store at The Streets at Southpoint located in Durham. The general contractor selected for the store, Atlanta-based Winter Construction, recently moved onsite to begin mobilization and layout work. The 148,000-sq.-ft. store is scheduled to open March 8, 2002 and will be Nordstrom’s first in North Carolina.
