Thelen Reid & Priest goes downtown with 177,098 sq. ft. lease

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Thelen Reid & Priest has signed a 177,098 sq. ft. lease at 875 Third Avenue, a 700,000 sq. ft., 29-floor building in Manhattan. Thelen Reid & Priest, a New York-based law firm, will move from 40 West 57th St. to occupy seven floors of the building for 15 _ years. Michael R. Laginestra, Lewis Miller, Jason Gorman and Andrew Sussman of New York-based Insignia/ESG represented Thelen Reid & Priest. John Powers, Stephen Apple and Eric Engelhardt, also of Insignia/ESG, represented the landlord, Boston Properties.

The building at 875 Third Avenue was built in 1982 and has recently been modernized. It takes up the entire block between 52nd and 53rd streets. Thelen Reid & Priest will move into the building by November 2002. Other tenants include Schroder Capital Management, Watson Wyatt, Hogan & Hartson, Northwestern Mutual Insurance and Iformation.
