PRESS RELEASE: Bentall Kennedy Hires Transaction Pros Ashley John Powell In San Francisco, Scott Morse In L.A. And Daniel Zoloto In Chicago

SAN FRANCISCO– Bentall Kennedy, one of North America’s foremost real estate investment advisors, announces the addition of Ashley John Powell as Senior Vice President – Transactions in San Francisco, Scott Morseas Vice President – Transactions in Los Angeles and Daniel Zoloto as Vice President – Transactions in Chicago.

Mr. Ashley John Powell has returned to Bentall Kennedy after 20 years, rejoining the company as Senior Vice President of Transactions, based in San Francisco. Mr. Powell has been in the real estate investment industry more than 28 years, and has worked with some of the top developer-owners and institutional investors in the business. Mr. Powell comes to Bentall Kennedy from RREEF Alternative Investments, where he oversaw the RREEF development and value add group in the Western U.S. His diverse career has also included significant positions with Snyder Langston, Transpacific Development Co. and CBRE. Mr. Powell earned a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University and is currently an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

Mr. Scott Morse brings more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience, joining Bentall Kennedy from CBRE Global Investors, LLC where he served as the Acquisition Director for Managed Accounts Group in the Western Region. Mr. Morse led all aspects of the acquisition process, including sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, due diligence and closing real estate transactions in the Western United States. In that role, he led a team of four and closed more than $5 billion in acquisitions on behalf of the firm’s clients. Previously, he worked in the Valuation and Advisory department of CBRE Group.Mr. Morse earned a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Syracuse University and a Bachelorof Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California. He is a member of ULI’s Young Leadership program.

Mr. Daniel Zoloto, Vice President of Transactions in the Chicago office, joins Bentall Kennedy from Pearlmark Real Estate Partners, where he served most recently as Vice President of Acquisitions. In that role, Mr. Zoloto was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring and closing commercial investments, including office, retail and industrial properties in key markets. Prior to that position he served as Vice President of Debt Capital Markets, where he closed over $425 million of property-level debt and $175 million of fund-level facilities. Mr. Zoloto has also held key positions at LaSalle Bank and General Growth Properties, facilitating a range of debt, structured finance and other financial transactions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Cum Laude) degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
