PRESS RELEASE: Burns Joins Missner Group as Senior Project Manager

Skokie, Illinois – The Missner Group is pleased to welcome Curt Burns to the project management team as senior project manager. Burns is the latest in a series of new hires to the growing project management team. Uros Stojakovic and Gary Bertoncini joined the firm this summer as well as a project engineer and project superintendent, respectively.
Burns has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry and has completed projects throughout 47 states. In his new role with The Missner Group, he will be responsible for preparing estimates and proposals; performing bidding of construction trades, awarding and issuing subcontracts; and managing all phases of construction. He will also actively participate in the design-build process with the owner, architect and engineer on a broad range of projects.

Throughout Curt’s more than 25 years of experience he has worked for such noted firms as McShane Construction, Pepper Construction and most recently with Chicago Commercial Contractors. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Design and currently resides in Elgin, Illinois.
