CHICAGO - Reed Construction is pleased to announce that the firm has hired Richard Melone as a senior project manager to join the firm’s Healthcare team.

Melone will manage the overall construction process for various projects as senior project manager. He will also prepare budgets, estimates, proposals, schedules and negotiate trade contracts with a focus on the firm’s healthcare projects. He was previously employed as a senior project manager by Krause Construction in Blue Island, Illinois.
A graduate of Prairie State College, Melone is a member of the Healthcare Engineers Society of Northern Illinois, The American Society for Healthcare Engineering of the American Hospital Association and the Lean Construction Institute. A resident of Flossmoor, Illinois, he is also actively involved in South Suburban PADS (Public Action to Deliver Action), the Flossmoor Softball and Baseball Association and the Homewood-Flossmoor Youth Football League.
