Metro Detroit’s $90 million Village at Rochester Hills will make its debut tomorrow.
The 375,000 sq. ft. lifestyle center is home to 50 retailers, including Talbots, Abercrombie & Fitch, Victoria’s Secret, Williams Sonoma and the first retail store for catalog retailer Coldwater Creek. A 120,000 sq. ft. Parisian department store will anchor the complex.
Troy, Mich.-based developer Robert B. Aikens & Associates LLC is hoping that the development’s "Main Street" design will encourage residents to view the village as an "antidote to urban sprawl."
A ribbon-cutting ceremony tomorrow morning will kick off the grand opening activities. Children’s activities, face painting and musical entertainment are also scheduled through the weekend.
