Potential Medical Marijuana Locations Remain Secret

The state is granting licenses for up to a 25,000-sq.-ft. cultivation area and up to a 3,000-sq.-ft. growing area.

There are 185 bidders for 24 available licenses the state plans to grant to the first medical marijuana growers in Ohio. The Ohio Department of Commerce released Wednesday the names of the limited liability companies applying but not the addresses where the applicants are seeking to have open their operations. The state is granting up to 12 licenses for up to a 25,000-square-foot cultivation area and up to another 12 licenses for up to a 3,000-square-foot growing area.
