Capital Lease Funding joined the ongoing flurry of IPOs last month. The 10-year-old New York-based finance company is now a REIT listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol LSE. Caplease aims to raise $184 million from the equities market, which it will use to fund future net-lease loans and acquisitions and invest in CMBS and collateralized debt obligations. It will also pay off its $88.1 million in outstanding debt. Caplease stock was trading at a high of $12.80 as of press time.
