CMH Architects, Inc. completed construction documents for the 170,000-square-foot lifestyle center component to be added to Colonial Pinnacle at Craft Farms, a mixed-use development in Gulf Shores, Ala. The project is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2007.

BrodyCo held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Crystal Coast Plaza, a $46-million, 225,000-square-foot power center in Morehead City, N.C. The project is scheduled for completion in late 2007/early 2008.

The board of directors of Dwinn-Shaffer & Company elected Leonard E. Wineburgh as chairman of the board and chief executive officer. Previously, Wineburgh served as president of the company.

TCB Development Company broke ground on Lockport Square at Farrell Road, a 125,520-square-foot, $20-million shopping center in Lockport, Ill.

Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust completed the ground lease and the sale of two land parcels to the joint venture of Dewey Companies and Grosvenor Investment Management at its Echelon Mall property in Voorhees, N.J. PREIT is transforming Echelon Mall into Voorhees Town Center, a mixed-use center that will include a 65,000-square-foot supermarket, 130,000 square feet of retail and 425 luxury residential condominiums and apartment units. The deal will allow Dewey Commercial to develop 108 condominium units on the purchased land parcel and 317 apartment units on the ground lease parcel. Completion is scheduled for late spring/early summer 2008.

Regency Centers began construction on the Tanasbourne Market Center, a 71,000-square-foot retail development in Hillsboro, Ore. The supermarket-anchored shopping center is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2007.

Greenberg Gibbons Commercial Corp. named Clarke B. Aburn as senior vice president of leasing. Aburn has more than 25 years of experience in retail leasing and tenant relations. Previously, he served as group vice president for anchor leasing with the Mills Corp.

The Irvine Company Retail Properties appointed Louis Raymond as vice president and general counsel. Raymond has 20 years of experience in real estate law. Previously, he served as executive counsel with the Walt Disney Company.

Glimcher Realty Trust promoted George A. Schmidt, Esq. to the position of executive vice president and chief investment officer. Previously, Schmidt served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary.

Panattoni Development Company began construction on Rancho del Chino, a 450,000-square-foot shopping center in Chino, Calif. The project is scheduled for completion in late 2007/early 2008.

Atlantic Development Group hired Matthew R. Snyder as senior project manager. Snyder will be responsible for project management, new acquisitions and underwriting for the firm's development and finance division. Previously, he served as director with Newmark Knight Frank.
