The Aged and the Restless

Do you remember that scene in The Godfather movie when Kay says that Don Corleone has little in common with senators and presidents and Michael replies “Now who’s being naive?” If you ever doubted that Mario Puzo’s novel was firmly grounded in reality, the latest case of corruption at the state level should dispel those illusions.
