Arlington, Va. – The acting governor of New Jersey, Donald DiFrancesco, recently announced his concerns regarding the development of Meadowlands Mills on the Empire Tract in Carlstadt, N.J.
Locally based The Mills Corp. intends to decline withdrawing its pending permit applications and is committed to developing the project in Bergen County. The company has agreed to meet with the governor’s staff to determine whether an acceptable, high-visibility, nearby alternate site for Meadowlands Mills might be defined through joint efforts.
