Kansas City council members don't want the city to pay for a downtown convention hotel project until their questions are answered.

A trio of Kansas City city council members are demanding transparency in the Loews downtown convention headquarters hotel project and don't want the city to pay a dime until some questions are answered, KCUR reports. The Land Clearance Redevelopment Authority approved project-related agreements last week, despite the fact that the 18 exhibits didn't include all of the necessary information.
