Developer of Dormant Wade Park Files for Bankruptcy Protection in Nashville Project

Stan Thomas, CEO of Thomas Land & Development, filed for Chapter 11 on the $1 billion Ovation project.

The developer behind the stalled, $2 billion Wade Park project in Frisco has filed for bankruptcy protection on a major venture in Nashville. Stan Thomas, founder and CEO of Atlanta-based Thomas Land & Development, opened a Chapter 11 bankruptcy case on Oct. 11 for part of his property at the $1 billion Ovation project in Nashville, according to the Nashville Business Journal, a sister publication to the Dallas Business Journal.
