GSA Buys More Time to Plan for Civilian Cyber Campus

The government's real estate arm is eyeing a cybersecurity project in the D.C. region.

The FBI won't be getting a new headquarters anytime soon, following the recent scrapping of the years-long search, but the federal government's real estate arm appears to be eyeing another big project for somewhere in the D.C. region. The General Services Administration recently floated the prospect of a civilian cybersecurity campus to be built at an undetermined location in Greater Washington, more than a year after the agency put the same notion on hold under then-President Barack Obama.
