Lime Fresh Mexican Grill Chooses Comras Co. as its Leasing Agent in South Florida

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill appointed Comras Co. as its exclusive leasing agent for South Florida. The company plans to open approximately 200 new locations throughout eastern United States. Lime Fresh Mexican Grill will explore multiple footprints and space options.

“Based on our prior successes throughout South Florida in identifying and negotiating complex retail transactions, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill chose our team for its rapid expansion throughout the market,” said Jeff Evans, director of retail leasing with Comras. “The restaurant has perfectly blended an incredibly fresh menu with expert operations to become a sought-after experience for patrons and an enhancement to retail developments.”

Regency Completes Boynton Lakes Plaza Redevelopment Project

Regency Centers completed the redevelopment of Boynton Lakes Plaza, a 117,124-sq.-ft. neighborhood shopping center in Boynton Beach, Fla.

The project included the demolition of a former Winn-Dixie store and the addition of a 45,000-sq.-ft. Publix store, a new exterior façade and architectural components, parking lot improvements and upgraded lighting and landscaping.

Regency acquired the center in 1997.

Greenberg Gibbons to Bring Dick’s Sporting Goods, Petco to Waugh Chapel Towne Centre

Greenberg Gibbons signed leases with eight new retailers at Waugh Chapel Towne Centre in Gambrills, Md. The new stores include a 50,000-sq.-ft. Dick’s Sporting Goods, Petco, Sports Clips, Massage Envy, Panera Bread, 5 Below, Sleepy’s and Visionworks.

Forest City Signs LEGOLAND Discovery Center for Ridge Hill

Merlin Entertainments will build a $12 million LEGOLAND Discovery Center at Forest City Ratner Cos.’ Ridge Hill center in Westchester County, N.Y. The facility will open in late spring 2013.

Skatepark Comes to Georgia’s Discover Mills

Black Diamond Skatepark will open a 40,000-sq.-ft. facility at Discover Mills in Lawrenceville, Ga. The facility will include a skatepark, a pro shop and a retail area offering skating and snowboard equipment.

National Amusements to Open a Theater at Chestnut Hill in Massachusetts

National Amusements signed a lease with WS Development for a 40,000-sq.-ft. six-screen Cinema de Lux at Chestnut Hill Shopping Center in Chestnut Hill, Mass. The theater will be located on a former Macy’s site and will open in March 2013.

Ethnic Grocery Operator Signs Lease at Temecula’s Tower Plaza

88 Seafood Market signed a 10-year lease with 27511 Ynez Road LLC for a 35,000-sq.-ft. store at Tower Plaza in Temecula, Calif. Argent Retail Advisors represented the landlord in the transaction.

Saks OFF 5th, Nike Factory Store Commit to The Outlets of Bloomfield

Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th signed a 20,000-sq.-ft. lease and Nike Factory Store signed a 12,000-sq.-ft. lease with Spectrum Capital for stores at The Outlets of Bloomfield in Pearl, Miss.

GA Keen to Market 34th Street Space in New York City

GA Keen Realty Advisors LLC, a division of Great American Group LLC, has been appointed as the leasing agent for a 17,741-sq.-ft. retail space at 21 West 34th Street in New York City. The property formerly housed an Esprit store.

Cushman & Wakefield Appointed Leasing Agent for 366 Broadway

Collect Pond House Inc. appointed Cushman & Wakefield as the exclusive leasing agent for 15,730 sq. ft. of retail space at 366 Broadway in New York City. The space encompasses three floors and offers 40 feet of frontage.

Joanne Podell, Matthew Seigel and Brandon L. Singer will handle this assignment on behalf of Cushman & Wakefield.

Other Notable News

Opus Development Corp. and Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust reached 100 percent occupancy status for Phase I of Shoppes at Fox River, a 273,000-sq.-ft. retail center in Waukesha, Wis. Hallmark Gold Crown signed the final lease at the property. Other tenants at the center include Target, Pick ‘n Save, The Cash Store, Associate Bank and Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt.

Several new retailers signed leases at the West Valley Mall in Tracy, Calif. The Company Fine Arts Academy Dance Studio agreed to take 4,573 sq. ft. of space. The Children’s Place signed a lease for 3,175 sq. ft. of space. It will open in late June. Fay’s Sports will open a 1,362-sq.-ft. store in July and Snack Shack will open a 506-sq.-ft. unit at the mall in June.

AMC Theatres signed a lease with General Growth Properties for a new movie theater at North Point Mall in Alpharetta, Ga. AMC plans to open the new theater in late 2013.

The Regal Entertainment Group signed a lease for a Regal Cinemas theater at The Trails Town Center in Benbrook, Texas.

State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. signed a 24,329-sq.-ft. renewal lease with KBS Real Estate Investment Trust II for space at Emerald View at Vista Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. Kevin McCarthy, of Jones Lang LaSalle, represented the landlord in the transaction.

Faris Lee Investments hired Lisa M. Brady as managing director and Katie Brase as director in its Las Vegas office. Brady has more than 15 years of experience in investment sales, leasing and property management. Previously, she worked as a senior vice president with Sun Commercial Real Estate. Brase specializes in property analytics, sales and leasing comparables and market sales and rents. She was previously an associate with Sun Commercial.

RKF hired Steve Schwartz and Lara Keene as directors. Both Schwartz and Keen previously worked for at Baum Realty Group LLC. In the course of his career, Schwartz sold and leased more than $100 million in commercial real estate properties. Keene specializes in landlord and tenant representation.

Voit Real Estate Services hired Matthew Goldstein as a senior associate in its retail group. In his new position, Goldstein will focus on tenant and landlord representation in the greater Sacramento region. Previously, he worked as a sales associate with Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank.
